We are the original owners of this set of speakers from 1996.It possible it could of been 1994 or 1995 They were purchased from a store in Philadelphia Philly. The original cabinets were so heavy we decidedto remove the subwoofers in 2016. This set could possible be the first generation sold there was also a set with red trim around the woofers. The House Parties were BOOMING And B👀ning all night long with the dynamic wide range and deep sound of the two Subwoofers and the Retro pitch of the six tweeters. Description: 1A – The subwoofers and each tweeter is workingand have been tested 7-12-2024 (View Video) 1 – The subwoofers each weight 8Lbs 2.0 oz There is no dry rot or visible damage to cones, the magnet,voice coil or dust cap aside from some normal surface scratches on the paint. The tweeters:We lightly tightened all the rear screws on each tweeter. They were all lightly cleaned and wiped off. 😜 We did leave a little 28 year old dust on them for good luck. 2 – The tweeters all have sound coming from them. one of them the screw section was cracked outsince we tightened the screw to tight. (View Photo) One tweeter the positive wire terminals to us seemslike it could use a stronger soldering it is a tiny little bit loosebut still works. One tweeter the rear cap has a tiny bit of play in it but still plays .
